We
often find that hotels can be a little optimistic about the number
of people they can seat in their meeting rooms.
Here is a simple calculator to allow
you to calculate the number of people you can seat theatre style in a
hotel room.
This model assumes some space for
presenters or top table at the front of the room and some space behind
the back row for people to enter.
It allows you to specify whether you
are having rear projection and the number of aisles you want.
For rooms with pillars or for other
seating styles, things are a little more complex.
NB. This model takes no account of
fire exit positions or other safety issues.
For our clients an accurate seating
plan is always drawn up to ensure sufficient seats. A full safety assessment
is also undertaken for every meeting.
