Do you sometimes have small meetings where you would like things to look just a little more professional than a pull down screen and a projector on the table? Perhaps you would like to hold a meeting in a more unusual venue which lacks technical facilities. Maybe you would like to run a small road show with reliable equipment at every venue and your own branding. We have a solution that is smart, practical and cost effective. A set and projector package suitable for an audience of 12 to 45 people, with a technical operator. Delivered to your venue, set up and running for only £400 per day*. The screen can be back projection, so the projector is out of sight, or front projection for a smaller room.
Technical Assistance Our technical operator will not only set up the equipment, he can also operate, assist with PowerPoint, or just remain on call for emergencies. Original Team Building or Small Meeting Concept
Here is a unique and original way to get a team together for a really productive meeting or a truly effective team building experience. Britain has 3000 miles of navigable waterways which form a perfect venue to get away from the stress and interruptions of a busy office and focus on what is important for your team. We have access to a 72 ft Narrowboat with a main cabin which can seat 12 people in comfort. The boat is complete with toilet facilities and a small kitchen. And if you really wish to get your team away for an overnight adventure, we even have 12 berths in 4 separate cabins. The boat belongs to a local charity that we sponsor, so every booking makes money to help young people gain access to the waterways. Team Building This boat is about as long as they come on the canals - 72 feet - 20,00 kg of solid steel. Learning to handle it with ease and confidence is a real challenge. Operating locks along the canal is a total team effort. Safely controlling nearly half a million litres of water as you raise and lower the boat from one canal section to the next, calls for good communication, interaction and reliance on the rest of your team. All these skills can be learned under the watchful eye of our RYA Qualified Instructor and RYA Qualified Crew in the relaxed atmosphere of an enjoyable day exploring the historic waterways of Britain. Lock-to-Lock Meetings Introduce a topic after one lock with a commitment to reach a decision or define a solution by the next lock - average time a bout 20 minutes - then break to get some fresh air and physical activity working the lock. You'll be amazed how energised your team is when they come to tackle the next "lock-to-lock" topic. The size of the boat allows plenty of space - outside and in - to break into small informal groups for discussions and one-to-one sessions. The 60 ft long roof, often known as "the steel beach", is the perfect place to relax, unwind and watch the countryside go by as a break from the pressure of your meeting. The open well deck at the front allows half a dozen people to gather in a convivial atmosphere. Incentive Days A day cruise is an unusual and desirable alternative to the run-of-the-mill incentives. A team of up to twelve people can be rewarded with a highly enjoyable day on the water, with a qualified crew to take the strain. Passengers can choose to join in the activities of the boat or just relax and enjoy their cruise in comfort. For smaller groups up to four people we offer training by qualified instructors up to RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman's Certificate standard. While we cannot guarantee that everyone will pass the course, we find that most people can reach a high enough standard to be awarded the RYA qualification at the end of the day. This is an incentive trip where participants leave with a real sense of achievement at the end of the day. Catering Picnic in the park, luncheon at a five star hotel, or a bite at a waterside hostelry - the choice is yours. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are also available at any time from our onboard galley. Optional Extras
